Interferometric Constraints on Spacelike Coherent Rotational Fluctuations

چکیده

Precision measurements are reported of the cross-spectrum rotationally induced differential position displacements in a pair colocated 39 m long, high-power Michelson interferometers. One arm each interferometer is bent 90\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{} near its midpoint to obtain sensitivity rotations about an axis normal plane instrument. The instrument achieves quantum-limited sensing spatially correlated signals broad frequency band extending beyond 3.9-MHz inverse light travel time apparatus. For stationary with bandwidth $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}f>10\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{kHz}$, rotation-induced strain $h$ classical or exotic origin surpasses ${\mathrm{CSD}}_{\ensuremath{\delta}h}<{t}_{P}/2$, where ${t}_{P}=5.39\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}44}\text{ }\mathrm{s}$ Planck time. This measurement used constrain semiclassical model nonlocally coherent rotational degrees freedom spacetime, which have been conjectured emerge holographic quantum geometry but not present metric.

Coherent Interferometric Imaging in Clutter

Coherent interferometry is an array imaging method in which we back propagate, or migrate, crosscorrelations of the traces over appropriately chosen space-time windows, rather than the traces themselves. The size of the space-time windows is critical and depends on two parameters. One is the decoherence frequency, which is proportional to the reciprocal of the delay spread in the traces produce...

Velocity constraints on apparent rotational movement.

The visual illusion of apparent rigid rotation was produced by sequential alternation of two views of the same object in different orientations. The minimum stimulus-onset asynchrony required for the appearance of rigid rotation was a linearly increasing function of the angular difference in orientation between the two views. Variation in the size of the object affected the zero-intercept of th...

On the interferometric coherent structures in femtosecond supercontinuum generation

Mechanism of SC generation is not fully understood as at such high laser powers interplay among several competing mechanisms occurs. Self-phase modulation (SPM) [2, 5, 7, 14, 15] associated with self-focusing is considered to be the trigger for the drastic broadening of ultrashort pulses. The intensity-dependent “induced Kerr-nonlinearity” of the dielectric medium and the beam shape causes the ...

Coherent interferometric imaging for synthetic aperture radar

This paper shows that the coherent interferometric imaging strategy originally proposed in the context of passive or active arrays of antennas can be implemented for synthetic aperture radar, in which a single antenna is used as an emitter and as a receiver at successive positions along a trajectory. The idea is to backpropagate the cross correlations of the recorded signals over selected frequ...

Enhanced Statistical Stability in Coherent Interferometric Imaging

We analyze the resolution and statistical fluctuations of images when the ambient medium is random and scattering can be modeled primarily by wavefront distortion. We compare the coherent interferometric imaging method to the widely used Kirchhoff migration and show how the latter loses statistical stability at an exponential rate with the distance of propagation. In Kirchhoff migration we form...
